Have fun instructing your lesson! After you do it a few times you will become very comfortable and familiar with the format and method of instruction.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Docent refers to a teacher or instructor. You are a Docent.<br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Docent, our Lesson Plans allow for a 90 minute presentation ideally.<br \/><\/strong>If you\u00a0have a time restraint, there is a <strong>Homework site <\/strong>where a Quick<br \/>Review\u00a0and\u00a0Vocabulary\u00a0for your lesson can be completed by your<br \/>students before you give your lesson\u00a0and a <strong>Review\/Assessment Quiz<\/strong><br \/>for your lesson can be\u00a0completed by your students\u00a0after your<br \/>presentation. You will\u00a0find this Homework site with instructions<br \/>under Docent\u00a0on the menu bar of your Lesson Plan. Each period of art is<br \/>color-coded the same as our timeline and Lesson Plan pages in order for<br \/>you to recognize the period of art you will be instructing.<br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Docent, become familiar with what a Mandala is from our Lesson Plans<br \/>and even draw some yourself. This will enable you to know what your<br \/>students are experiencing when you instruct how to draw a Mandala.<br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Be sure to read each Lesson Plan to familiarize yourself with the<br \/>subject matter and project. Review the lesson you will be giving as many<br \/>times as it takes to become proficient. Each lesson is succinct and will require<br \/>the docent to be thoroughly knowledgeable of all subject matter. This<br \/>will ensure an efficient delivery of each lesson.<br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>It is important to know how much time has been allowed for your lesson plan.<br \/>Every docent should have a watch, a phone, or classroom clock to<br \/>ensure having the exact time. There must be a cut off time from instruction<br \/>to allow students to have enough time to complete their projects and for<br \/>the closure portion of the lesson.<br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Docent, please be sure you know how many students will be in your<br \/>class so you have all the media on hand for the project that you will be<br \/>presenting well in advance of your presentation. As you talk about what<br \/>media they will use for their\u00a0projects in the lesson plan, display it as well.<br \/>Have extra media\u00a0in case it is needed,\u00a0especially white paper. Try to use new<br \/>materials as\u00a0your students will\u00a0not want to use old and broken crayons for<br \/>instance.\u00a0If for some reason the media for your project is not available,<br \/>have students\u00a0use pencils and paper to draw anything relating to the days<br \/>project. Be Creative!<br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Docent, familiarize yourself with the project you will instructing<br \/>in advance of the Lesson Plan you will be instructing that day. If your<br \/>project requires photo copies, make sure you download and print them<br \/>before you instruct\u00a0the lesson.
